Positioning the CAD drawing upon import
- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our 03_Simple Building Project.rvt file, and as you can see it's nice and clean because we set that up in the previous video. So, we're going to go back to the Insert tab on the Revit ribbon, into the Link panel, and click on Link CAD. Usual workflow and process, we select the GND Floor Plan. Now, what I'm going to do each time, you'll notice, is make sure that certain settings are just set the way they were in the previous videos. So I'm going to make sure that Colors are Black and White again. Make sure that Layers\Levels are set to All. Make sure that Import units Auto-Detect is on, and that our Correct lines, little tick box, is ticked. Now, obviously, as we work through all of these settings, we'll slowly get to a point where all the settings are exactly where we want them to be. Now, you'll notice, in the Project Browser, we're at the 00-Ground Floor Plan, and that's where we're placing our DWG file, our linked CAD file. So, we need to…
