- [Instructor] Now that we've created our project, our next step is to adjust the levels so that they are at the right elevation. Underneath your south elevation view, click here inside of the view and just spin the wheel of your mouse until you can see your first floor foundation and your basement level elevations. For the first floor elevation, I like the zero feet, zero inches. Now, some other standard practices are putting in real world elevations or starting at 100' 0" for the first floor, and then going down from there. None of those is necessarily wrong and you could type in those dimensions if you wanted to, but for this project, I'm going to start with first floor being at zero feet, zero inches. This foundation dimension, for the foundation, I would like it to be 12 3/4" below where the first floor is located at. So what I'll do is where it has foundation, I'll click, then click on the number, type in 12, or actually I'll type in -12, space, 3/4 and the inch sign, hit the…
