Placing floors

- [Narrator] To model a floor into this part of your Revit model, the first thing that I want to do is create a floor that goes through this entire space. Underneath the architecture tab, though technically we could also do this underneath the structure tab, we have the option to create floors. Now if I select on floor, we can see here for properties, that there's a floor called, floor one. Now this is just a generic floor. What I'd like to do is just create a floor which is made out of concrete. So to accomplish that, I'll come here to edit type, and then much like the walls, we can go to structure, and then edit. But before we do that, let's duplicate this floor, and call it concrete. And click on okay. So there we have structure, click on edit. For the material, click. Now I just want to have a concrete material. And if we take a look at what we have, right now we can see that we really don't have just a straight concrete material.
