Place footings

- [Voiceover] What I'd like to do in this video is create some footings. We're going to create some strip footings, then we're going to create some isolated footings. To do that, let's go into Revit, let's go to Projects, let's go to Open. Let's go to our Footings model in Chapter 2 and let's click Open. Okay, so first thing I'd like to do is put some piers and pilasters in. So let's go down to Level 1 floor plan. On the Structure tab lets click the Column button. Let's click the dropdown here and lets go to our 18 x 18. Now let's click Edit Type, let's duplicate, let's go 2'-6"x2'-6" and hit OK. I know my nomenclatures a tad different but I want to know which are my piers and pilasters as opposed to my actual columns. So for my dimensions, b and h, two foot six and then it's two space six, hit Enter. Let's click OK. Now on our options bar, let's make sure our depth is constrained to top of footing and I want to click on At Grid Intersection right here. So I'm going to pick a window…
