Pier schedules
- Let's create a Pier Schedule. Pier Schedules are structural column schedules, actually. They're very similar to footing schedules, but we have to type in more information. Let's jump into our structural model, and let's go down to our Top of Footing level in our Project Browser. Zoom in on a pier and select it. Now let's click Edit Type, and for the Type Mark, let's call it P-1. And let's click OK. Let's go to the View tab, and let's click on Schedules, Schedule Quantities. Let's scroll down 'til we find Structural Columns. And for the name, let's call it PIER SCHEDULE, all CAPS. And let's click OK, now let's scroll down 'til we find Type Mark, of course, and let's add that. This time let's add Type Comments, and let's add one more Parameter. Let's call it PIER SIZE. The PIER SIZE is gonna be a Type comment. The type of Paramater is gonna be Text. Let's click OK, let's move Pier Size up. Now let's click OK. Again, there's a lot of unlabeled columns.
