- So certainly plan sections and elevations take up…the line share of the views that you're gonna include…in your project template but there's lots…of other views you might want to include as well.…Might be General Notes, it might be Location Plans,…Legends, things like that.…So in this movie let's look at a few of those examples…and how we might want to include…some of those in our project template.…So I'm thinking of a door legend for example,…where you show the elevations types…of your doors and describe each one.…So to do that we can go to the View tab…and click the legends button and choose…to create a new legend.…
I call it Door Types.…Click OK.…And I get a blank sheet of paper.…Now this will appear down here on the project browser…underneath the legends group right there.…Now this is a blank sheet you could just draft here.…This is a two dimensional view…that's not linked to anything in your model.…However because its a legend view we have…a special kind of object we can include here.…So if I go to the Annotate tab under detailing…
