Organizing your browser
- An important area of consideration for any customization endeavor is the project browser. In fact, this is one of the most commonly customized areas in any Revit implementation that I've seen. The provided template files that ship with Revit include a few browser organization types to get you started. In this movie, we'll look at creating your own custom browser organization. I'm in a file called Browser and it's just a continuation of the file we've been working on. When I talk about the browser organization, what I'm talking about is the various ways that you can see all of the views in your project listed, indented, grouped and organized. At the very top of this list it says Views and in parentheses it says (all). All is the browser organization. That's the name of the browser organization.
