Organizing and naming callout views
- [Instructor] There's more to creating your call-out view than simply picking two points and creating the view. You want to make sure with creating call-outs or really any view in Revit is to get in the habit of naming them carefully and descriptively and then putting them in a good location Now these are hopefully commonsense recommendations that will just ensure that it's easy to find these views later. So, if your project only contains a handful of views, it's not as important. But most projects contain dozens, if not hundreds of views and so, if there're all just named numerically one, two, three, four, five, what each view contains. So, I've got a few examples of that here that I want to walk through with you. So, we created a call-out view here in this corner and this is this column pier detail and if I hover over this, you can see the name is indicated as Detail Column at Exterior Wall.
