Naming conventions
- If there ever were a sometimes contentious issue in project setup, it is the issue of how to name things. There are almost as many ways to name things as people doing the naming. My goal in this movie is not to convince you of my of naming things. I will make some suggestions, of course, but rather than argue for a particular naming strategy, I will simply make the case that whatever you're naming convention is, that you first follow it consistently yourself. Then make sure that it is easy to apply and explain to others. You can have the most logically naming convention in the world, but if no one understands or uses it, it does you not good. So, let's talk about naming. So, the first question is, what are we naming? Well, we could've done this movie first. Really, we could name so many things in (rapid) that we could apply the strategies that we're going to talk about here to everything that we name.
