Modeling the world of foundations, framing, and trusses

- [Eric] This course was designed to get right down to what I feel is most important in Revit structure, families. I've always said that the faster you learn families, the faster you advance your career if this is the path you choose to go down. Each video is kept to a reasonable length, drills immediately into the specifics and is as precise and succinct as possible. Although some do run long, I felt it was best to keep the family flowing. So take breaks, slow down the speed if you need to or speed it up if you want to. Hi, I'm Eric Wing. In this LinkedIn Learning course, I'll start with some quick explanations on the different types of families and how formulas are associated with parameters. Then we'll jump into how to create families for foundations using step footings, slab depressions, and thickened slabs as some examples. From there, we'll jump into steel families, then to project based families, and lastly, my favorite, trust families. So if you're ready to learn how to really make Revit structure work for you and your firm, I'm ready to show you.
