Modeling railings

- [Lecturer] We're now in another Revit project and we're going to look at placing some parametric railings onto some balconies in a part section of a building. So the new Revit project is called RevitProject_Railings.rvt. You can download that from the website as an exercise file to follow along with the video as usual. Make sure in this particular Revit project that you are in the second floor, floor plan in the project browser. Don't go to the first floor or the roof or the site plan, make sure it's the second floor, floor plan. We're going to zoom in now on the left most balcony here as you can see. We're going to pan across. Get it nice and central, nice and big on the screen so you can see what you're doing. Then go to the Architecture tab on the ribbon and into the Circulation panel and click on the flyout for railings. We've got two different methods of placing railings. You can place on an existing stair or ramp which we don't have, or you can sketch the path. Now as soon as…
