Modeling materials at walls
- [Instructor] The walls on Revit can have multiple materials along one surface. And that's without painting the materials directly to the face of that surface. To accomplish that we first need to select on a wall. And right now I'm not seeing the walls on my view so I'm just going to click on this corner of the view cube in order to be able to get those walls back into my view. Now if I zoom in here I can see that I have a wall that has brick on one side and we can see that that wall with brick on one side exists in multiple different locations. And if I spin our walls around and I'll just click on this corner of the view cube we can see that there's materials on these sides. Now what's interesting is that what we see down here is actually a painted material. We took the time to paint the material on down at the bottom of this wall. But the actual material that makes up the wall if we would take a section through the wall is the same as the wall type that it's associated with, in…
