Model the table legs
- [Instructor] Our next step in getting our table legs here to be attached to our table is to lock in some of what I call the smaller or more interior reference planes, so that they adjust when the legs need to adjust. To lock those reference planes in, let's first zoom in to the upper left hand corner, then go to the Annotate tab on the ribbon, select the Align Dimension, and then let's place some dimensions along these reference planes. Click once here, click once here, then click out. Then padlock, or just lock, this individual dimension. Now, we need to do the same thing here. Dimension to there, click out, then lock it. We now need to lock to the reference plane that shows up here going along the top. Unfortunately, there's nothing really there for me to select on, so I'm just going to highlight over where that reference plane should be at, then click the tab key on the keyboard to highlight that dashed line, which is the reference plane.
