Mirroring groups to create a layout

- In this video I want to show you a quick way where we can take a single group and replicate it around to create an entire floorplate layout for a building. So I've got a two-bedroom condo unit here, and I want to reuse that in other portions and create the layout for the floor plan. So in this example I'm going to actually use the mirror command, and we actually have two versions of the mirror command, and I'll show you both of them. So I'm going to zoom in on this original instance that I have right here. I'll select it, and we'll demonstrate the first mirror command. So with it selected, on the modify panel I want to use Mirror + Pick Axis. With Mirror + Pick Axis, we just simply select some element that is the mirror line for the original and the copy, and in this case it's going to be this horizontal wall running across the top of the plan. When I click that, it will mirror a copy of this group up to the new location, and it will also generate a warning. Now if you look…
