- [Instructor] Now, one of the last things I want to do to my cabinet to make it ready to be placed into my model is I want to apply a material parameter to it. Material parameters are interesting because there's a few ways that you can do those as well. There's a way that I like the best that I feel gives you the most amount of control over the cabinet. I'm going to actually click on one of my pieces and on my piece, I'm going to come over here to my properties box. Right now it's reading as by category, which means the category of this particular cabinet is casework. So if I were to take this and put this into my project, whatever my default material is for cabinets inside of my project, this cabinet is going to get that material.
