Material display in drawings
- [Instructor] The properties of a material affect the way that that material displays in all the different views inside of Revit. That could be inside of a rendering. It could be a plan view. It could be a reflected ceiling plan view, elevation view, sections. You name the kind of the view, and if there's a material in it, it displays the way that it does due to the material properties associated with that material. Currently on the screen, I have a wall, as well as a floor. And I've assigned a generic material to it, which I've named Brick. Now, what we need to do is go into that Brick material and actually give it the display properties that a material known as brick should have. Let's start by going up to the Manage tab. And then over toward the left-hand side, select on Materials. Now, underneath your Material Browser, by default, it should highlight on the word Brick. If for some reason it isn't highlighting on Brick, just scroll down and then select on Brick. Now, there's two…
