Making an elliptical arch

- [Instructor] Not every arch will follow a circular arc. Sometimes they'll follow other paths, like perhaps an elliptical path. So in this example, let's go ahead and create our sweep using an elliptical path instead of a circular one. So I'm back in my Arch_Seed here in Revit, and before I start creating my sweep, this time I'm going to actually make my sweep parametric, both in the shape of the path, and in the shape of its profile. So I want to be able to adjust the size of that profile. So to do that, I'm going to need a couple extra reference planes. So I'm going to add a reference plane here that will represent the top of the bricks, and I'll just go ahead and call that Top of Brick, and then I'm going to cancel out of there and add a dimension for that, and then I will label that with a new parameter that I'm going to call Brick H, for brick height.
