Making changes to the linked CAD drawing in AutoCAD

- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now in our course, and you'll notice that I've got AutoCAD open in this particular case. Now the reason that I've got AutoCAD open is we're going to edit the linked Cad file that comes into our Revit project. So we've got AutoCAD open, we're going to make some changes to that linked CAD file first, so if you look at the top of the screen there, the Cad file that you want to open in this case is 06_GND Floor Plan.dwg. Now you'll notice it's got an 06 at the beginning. You can download it from the website, and install it somewhere safe, but what you've got to make sure of is that this is already linked to your Revit project. Now the good thing is the Revit project that you're going to open will also have this linked already. I've saved it for you, and you'll see how that all works in a minute. So all you've got to do is make sure you download both the Revit file and also the CAD file, and the CAD file begins with 06, and the Revit file…
