- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now in our course, and we're going to be looking at linking your CAD files to your Revit model as part of your BIM workflow. Now, the benefit of linking a CAD file to your Revit model is that if there have been changes to that CAD file, you can reload the CAD file that is linked to the Revit model and see those changes on the screen providing you haven't hidden the CAD file, like we looked at in the previous chapter when we were importing CAD files. So what we're going to do now is go through a similar work flow to link a CAD file to your Revit model as part of your BIM workflow. We're in "Autodesk Revit 2020". Remember that the Revit files that we're using can only be read by Revit 2020. Remember, Revit is not backwards file compatible. So the file is "1031 SE Madison SAMPLE PROJECT.rvt".
