Linking a CAD drawing into Revit

- [Instructor] So, I'm staying in the Revit project 01_Simple Building Project.rvt and you'll notice in the Project Browser over on the right-hand side of the screen that I'm in the floor plan 00-Ground. Now, something you may notice, when you open up Revit, is your Project Browser will be over on the left underneath the Properties palette. Don't worry about that. It's just the way I work and I just drag and dock the Project Browser and the Properties palette like that on the screen. For me, when I'm recording the videos for you, it's just that little bit easier. It gives me a little bit more screen real estate, so that I can record effective videos for you. Now, we're staying in that 01_Simple Building Project Revit file and what we're going to look at this time is linking a CAD file. Now, there is a subtle difference to importing and linking and when you link a CAD file to your Revit project, it means that it stays there. It's a bit like a reference drawing in AutoCAD.
