Import AutoCAD files into Revit

- [Instructor] First things first, I'd like to bring in some AutoCAD into our Revit models. There's a couple different reasons why we do this. One, the more popular one, is perhaps we have an architectural floor plan or something like that in AutoCAD that we wanna bring into Revit. We can do that. Another thing that'd be nice to do is we have tons of AutoCAD details that are probably stored up over the years. We wanna start getting those into Revit, get them cleaned up, and see how Revit works with them. So, to get started, let's jump into Revit. Under Projects, I'm gonna start a brand new project using the Mechanical Template right here. In the Project Browser, I wanna make sure I'm in Mechanical, HVAC, Floor Plans, 1 - Mech. Let's go to the Insert tab. On the Insert tab, on the Import panel, let's go to Import CAD. Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files. I'm gonna grab Architectural Floor Plan Level 1.
