Importing DWG and image files

- [Instructor] You'll notice that we have another Revit project open this time. It's RevitProject_IMPORT.rvt. You can download that from the website as the exercise file to use for this particular video. Now, what we're going to look at is importing things like CAD .dwg files and also image files, and also setting up decals in your Revit projects. So let's have a look at how all of that works. You'll notice we've got a very simple Revit project open, just four walls. One, two, three, and four. And what we're going to do, we're going to bring in a little patio planter, bottom left here, in this area of the Revit project. Before we do that though, jump over to the Insert tab on the ribbon, and you'll notice that you've got all your options here to bring in different files into your Revit projects. So, you'll notice we've got linking, but we've also got importing as well. Now, you can import a CAD file, it's there. When you import a CAD file, it's a one off snapshot. So basically, if the…
