- [Voiceover] In this movie I want to talk about what happens when you import CAD files. Specifically, I want to focus on what happens with the line weights of the CAD files as they're being imported. Now I'm just in a blank default project here, using the default template. I'll go to the View tab and create a new drafting view. Give it a name. I'll accept the default scale and click Ok. Now I'm going to go to the Insert tab and I could use either Link CAD or Import CAD. For this example, I'm going to use Import CAD. I'm going to select this Louver detail that I have right here. Now I want to accept all of the defaults. Preserve the colors, bring in all the layers. Autodetect the units. The only thing I'm going to change is the positioning. I'm going to put the cursor at the center point and bring it in manually. So, manual center and click Open, and you'll see that. I'll put my cursor right in the middle of the…
