- [Voiceover] In this movie I want to talk about what happens when you import CAD files. Specifically, I want to focus on what happens with the line weights of the CAD files as they're being imported. Now I'm just in a blank default project here, using the default template. I'll go to the View tab and create a new drafting view. Give it a name. I'll accept the default scale and click Ok. Now I'm going to go to the Insert tab and I could use either Link CAD or Import CAD. For this example, I'm going to use Import CAD. I'm going to select this Louver detail that I have right here. Now I want to accept all of the defaults. Preserve the colors, bring in all the layers. Autodetect the units. The only thing I'm going to change is the positioning.
