Import tips
- [Instructor] In this video, I want to wrap up our discussion of importing and linking CAD files with a couple tips and a few extra bits of information and perhaps even a few do's and don'ts. You may recall that we were on the Insert tab and we were able to use this dialogue here to import and map the colors in the CAD file to line weights in our Revit project. Well, when you do that, it will remember all of the settings that you typed in there. So remember that we did load and I also mentioned that we could do save as. Well, I've provided a reset file right here so if you want to reset the line weights back to the original settings instead of the ones from that imported detail, then you could just reload that text file there and it will go change all the numbers back to the original settings. All right, so just remember to do that. You could actually keep different…
