Highlight Revit elements with Dynamo
- [Instructor] We now have a Dynamo routine that returns a list of each classroom seat family instance that's beyond an eight-foot power cord's reach to the nearest electrical outlet. For our last step, let's highlight in the Revit floor plan view all of those seat families that are too far away from power so that we can adjust the room's design to accommodate all of the seats. The node that will accomplish this for us is called Element Override In View, which we can find under the Revit, Elements, Element section of the node library. Since this node is going to make changes to our Revit file, I'm going to change our execution bar setting back to manual. You can see that this node takes two inputs, the list of elements that we'd like to color in the active Revit view, and the color. Our list of elements is ready to go. We'll plug in the list of Revit family instances coming from the in output of our boolean mask filter, because those are the elements that passed our greater than eight…
