- [Instructor] Silhouette edges is one of the Graphic Display Options. It provides the ability to select a line style that Revit will apply to the outside edge of your geometry in a 3D view. This feature will override the pattern and color of the outside edge of a Revit element to match the line that you have selected. In this video, we're going to learn how to enable silhouette edges and adjust this feature. Then we'll discuss how this falls within the graphic priority of Revit. Open the 01_08 Exercise File. If you check your project browser, you should be in 3D View 01_08_Silhouette Edges. We're going to enable the silhouette edges feature from the graphics display bar in the bottom left of your screen. Click on the visual styles selector and choose Graphic Display Options. Under Model Display, you'll see an option for silhouettes. By default it's set to none.
