- [Instructor] Let's see how to migrate an entire system over to fabrication parts, shall we? What's going to happen is, if there are items such as air terminals, VAVs, or even flex ducts, there are no fabrication parts for that. So instead of breaking, Revit will ignore the non-participating components, but will still maintain the connections. The objective of this video is to model an intact supply system and convert it over to a pile of fabrication parts, then we'll add some accessories. Let's jump into Revit. Under "Projects", let's go to "Mechanical Template". Let's go "Insert". Let's "Link Revit". Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files under "Backgrounds", I'm going to grab "Architectural". Now I'm going to click "Open". I'm going to select the underlay, I'm going to click "Pin", and "Edit Type" I'm going to click here. Now I'm going to go to "Room Bounding". I'm going to turn that on.
