Footing schedules
- Now that we have a lot of these items modeled, it's time to start harvesting our information. In this video we will create a Footing Schedule. We will first add a type mark, then add a custom parameter for the rebar. Let's jump into our structural model. Let's go down to our top-of-footing plan. Let's scroll into this footing right here and select it. Let's click "Edit Type". Where it says "Type Mark", click down here, and type in F, hyphen, one. This is our Type Mark for "Footing 1". Let's click "OK". Because we clicked on "Edit Type", that means F1 is going to affect every footing in our model. For example if we select this footing here, and click on "Edit Type" that Type Mark is gonna be F1. I'm gonna hit "Cancel". What I wanna do next is go to the "View" tab. Now let's go to "Schedules", and let's go to "Schedule/Quantities". Let's scroll down to "Structural Foundations", and for the name let's call it "FOOTING SCHEDULE" all caps. And let's click "OK".
