- [Instructor] Sometimes, you need to share your work in Revit with a recipient who is not using Revit. So, a really popular way to do that would be to export DWG files from your Revit model. So, let's go ahead and take a look at the process. So, I'm going to go over here to the File menu, and then highlight Export, and then that will make a submenu available here, and up at the top, I will choose CAD Formats, and then find the DWG. Now, there are some other formats available here, some of which are only available when you export to 3D, so we'll come back to that later. All right, so, let me choose DWG here, and it would certainly be possible for me to immediately go to Next and move on, but before I do, I just want to click this Modify Export Setup button right here and to show you some of the things that you could customize if you are so inclined.
