- [Instructor] The Green Building XML, or gbXML, was developed to facilitate the transfer of building information stored in a B model, enabling in turn our ability between disparate building design and engineering analysis software tools. In order to help architects, engineers, and imaging modelers to design more energy efficient buildings. Revit integrates tools to configure, control, and export to the gbXML format. The gbXML contain three type of object and it's data. First, they contain spaces. They are discreet volume, masses, of space. They are discreet volume, or masses, of air that experience heat loss or gain. These heat changes are due to internal processes like occupancy, lighting, equipments, and HVAC, as well as heat exchange with other spaces and with the exterior environment.
