Exporting to AutoCAD

- [Instructor] Printing and exporting PDFs is not the only way to get data out of Revit. We can export in a variety of file formats. Now, perhaps the most popular file format for CAD users is AutoCAD's DWG format. What I'd like to do in this video is talk about the process that we can use to export one or more views or sheets from Revit to AutoCAD. So, I've got a sheet open here, but, as they say, you can be in any project in any view and what you want to do is go to the file menu and highlight the export option. That will display a menu. And then, if you come over here, there's a series of CAD formats, and we can export to DWG, DXF, DGN, or even 3D ACIS (SAT) files. If you want to use this option, you'd need to make sure you're in a 3D view first. I'm going to go to DWG. Now, this will display the DWG export dialog, and it will default to the current view or sheet only. So, you'll see my sheet A1, and that will be included in the list here.
