- [Instructor] I have now placed this cabinet into my project. However, I want to make changes to it so that it closely reflects how I want it to show in both my project and my schedule. So here's how you make your changes to something that you've floated in. You click on it. And this works for families that you did not create yourself, but you maybe have pulled from the internet or some other source. You come up top to where it says, edit family, and you click that. And what it does is it opens the file back up. It goes to a family editor. Then from there, you can make your changes. Here's one change that I actually want to make to this file. I have my door pull that was actually put into this file that I actually want to change its category. Now, remember this door pull is a nested component, which means I then have to select this door pull and actually open that file as well. So you click on edit family again.…
