Establishing location and sun settings

- All Revit Projects have a location in the physical world. You can use this information when you're doing sun studies or energy analysis. Depending on the type of work that your firm does and more specifically if you work in a single geography or not you may or may not want to establish some of the defaults for location settings directly in your template. In this movie we'll look at configuring the location and sun settings in a Revit Project. So again whether or not you do this in your template really depends on how extensively you work. If you work all over the world then regardless of what you set the template your users will still have to configure the location for each project, but if you're a New York City firm and you do 90% of your projects right in Manhattan then why not go ahead and set the location of your project to midtown Manhattan and have it set that way right from the start.
