Energy modeling goal

- Why energy modeling? It's a question of need. We have issues that have to be dealt with and one of the issues is that our buildings come to consume about 50% of the energy produced in the United States and contribute nearly 50% of the CO2 emissions that contribute to climate change. I provided links so you can keep up to date on where we stand with regard to that challenge and you'll get information there as to what the status is at the moment and how it's changing. You can also check out government agencies that track this kind of data to see who contributes what. In terms of here, four states that account for more than half of the United States wind energy generation. What I've heard is an estimate that we're going to create about 10 times the current city of Boston in United States in the next 10 years so that's a lot of building and if we're not addressing these needs, then we're contributing to the problem. And Insight lets us address those issues quickly, as a design aid tool, in a way that other products don't necessarily do.
