Electrical: Work with spaces

- [Instructor] I know that we've added spaces earlier, but I want to drill in a lot deeper and see how spaces work with our lighting as well. Also, I want to see how we can add a lot more spaces and build a space schedule. So under projects, this time let's start a new project. For our template file, let's click Browse. I'd like to select Electrical-Default. Click Open. Click OK. Let's link in an architectural model. Go to the Insert tab. Click Link Revit. Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files, and grab the Architectural model. For positioning, let's link it Auto - Origin to Origin. Click Open. Select your link. Click the pin button. Most importantly, go to Edit Type. Let's make sure Room Bounding is clicked on. This allows the spaces to see the room bounding elements such as walls. Click Apply. Click OK. Hit Escape. Let's zoom in up to this area. Go to the Analyze tab. Click the Space button. Let's put a space right here. Hit Escape a few times. Now the problem is, is…
