- [Instructor] I'd like to add some Fire Alarm devices.…To start with, let's jump into Revit.…Under Projects, let's go Open.…Let's browse to where we're keeping our exercise files.…Now I want to find Security.…It's the close cousin to Fire Alarm.…Click Open.…I want to use some ceiling mounted devices first,…so let's go to Ceiling Plan 1 Ceiling Elec.…Gonna zoom in over here.…I'm going to go to Systems.…I'm gonna click my Device dropdown,…and I'm gonna go to Fire Alarm.…
There's no devices loaded in the project.…Yeah, let's load one.…Let's go to Electrical,…Let's to go ME,…Info and Comm,…and look at that, Fire Alarm.…I want to scroll down,…I'm gonna grab Fire Alarm Horn Ceiling Mounted,…so I'm gonna click Open.…Now remember, this family is face-based,…so let's go ahead and place it on a face,…and now the symbol for Fire Alarm Horn…will show up.…
Put one here.…Put one here.…We can put 'em all over,…have 'em in every room.…Now I'm gonna hit Esc.…I'm gonna select my horn.…It's not a lot of properties with it.…Most companies are gonna have a pretty good library…
