Some firms show spaghetti, some don't. I like showing the spaghetti. What I'd like to do in this video is show you how to manually add wires to your model. But first I'd like to show you how to configure your wire types, how to add different wire types, and show you how to control the visibility of your tick marks.

- [Instructor] I've seen a lot of…different wires shown a lot of different ways…at different firms.…I've seen some firms that don't shelve wires at all,…while firms like mine shelve wires all the time.…So, what I wanna do is go into our projects,…now I wanna click Open,…and I want to go to our Wiring model…and I wanna click Open.…I want to go to the Systems tab…and under Electrical I want to go to Electrical Settings.…Notice up here we have Wiring,…so click on Wiring.…
Now, here's a bunch of choices.…When we click on this,…we're gonna see Tick Marks here,…but when we start from the top,…our Ambient Temperature,…86 degrees is fine.…Gap of Wiring Crossing,…1/16 is pretty good.…Hot Wire Tick Mark,…now we can start to configure exactly how…we wanna see our Tick Marks.…I like Long Wire Tick Marks for most of this stuff,…Slanted Line across Tick Marks,…I've seen a lot of firms will show it.…Some don't.…My firm, however, when we come to show Tick Marks,…we never show our Tick Marks.…
So I'm gonna click Never.…Of course you can say Always or just on Home Runs.…
