I love lighting fixtures. They're my favorite. What we are going to do in this video is add some pretty basic 2x4 ceiling hosted fixtures. Then I'd like to go find some other wall hosted fixtures, and some emergency lights that can be circuited to a main panel as well as a backup panel should the power go out.
- [Narrator] Let's go ahead and add some lighting fixtures.…Let's jump into Revit under projects.…Let's go open.…I'm gonna find my lighting fixtures Revit model.…I'm gonna click open.…Now what I'd like to do is under electrical lighting,…let's go to ceiling plans, one ceiling elec.…I'm gonna zoom into this area here.…I'm gonna go to systems.…Now I'm gonna click on lighting fixture.…Let's use a couple preloaded lighting fixtures.…
So I'll click the drop down here.…Let's go for two by four 120.…Now notice that we can't put it on here.…And that goes back to our explanation on face based…or work plane based.…Under placement let's click place on face.…Now notice it's in the wrong orientation.…So if I hover over one of these grid lines…and hit my space bar,…it will orient it to the correct orientation.…So I'm gonna put one here, and I'm gonna put one here.…
Zoom out a bit.…Maybe I'll come down to this room.…I want to orient it again,…so I'm gonna hover over this line.…Hit my space bar.…I'm gonna put one here...…Here...…And here.…
