Conduit is so easy in Revit it's almost cheating! In this video I would like to show you how to run conduit off a panel. Then we will bring in an EMT fitting to hook to a box. Also we will learn how to create multiple runs of a conduit configuration, then go back and change the sizes. We will also look at conduit bend configurations.
- Let me be the first to wish you good luck on your exam,…and that you can do it.…Under Projects, let's go Open.…We're gonna draw some conduit.…Of course, let's find our Conduit model,…and let's click open.…The first thing I'd like to do is…go to our Power Floor Plan 1 - Power.…I'm gonna show you two ways to model conduit,…one will just be kind of a free-form conduit,…and the other will be from a panel.…But before we do either,…let's take a look at our electrical settings.…So if you go to Systems, on the Electrical panel,…let's click the drop down here for Electrical Settings.…
Notice that we can come down to Conduit Settings,…and for our Conduit Fitting Annotation Size,…I like to bump that down 3/32".…Keep the Suffix, Keep the Separator, we don't need a Prefix.…Rise Drop, again I like to bump that down to 3/32".…If we go to Single Line Symbology,…notice that we get an Outline for our Rise Symbol,…Outline - Filled for our Drop.…But we can click into Outline…and click on the little builder button.…We can choose from one of the symbols that we have loaded.…
