Not Circus, circuits! This video dives into the power of Revit. It's nice to be able to have the same program that produces our drawings, produce our circuiting information as well. What I would like to do in this video is show you how to add components to a circuit, and select the panel the circuits are being run from.
- [Instructor] Now that we have receptacles…placed in our project,…and we have panels placed in our project,…it makes sense that we can now complete a circuit.…That's what I'd like to do in this video;…complete a circuit.…So, under Projects, let's go Open.…Let's browse at where we're keeping our files,…and let's find our Circuit model.…Let's click Open.…Now, what I'd like to do is go down to Power,…One Power Floor Plan.…I'd like to zoom in on this area up here.…
We're going to create a circuit,…but I'm not sure what to call it.…Generally, I like to call it the room name,…so what I'd like to do is, notice that we already…have a space in here, and it's Office 101.…So, I'm just going to go ahead and tag this,…so I know what it is.…I'm going to go to Analyze,…and I'm going to click on Space Tag,…and I'm going to bring this tag in here,…and then I'm going to hit Escape.…Now, to create a circuit, what I'm going to do,…is I'm going to select any one of these items…that I want on the circuit.…So I'm going to grab this duplex receptacle.…
