- [Instructor] We're in a new Revit project now, and we're sticking with the modeling theme of this chapter. We're going to look now at modeling and editing a model elements material. Things like doors, and windows, and so on. We've got a new project for you, Revit project_materials.rvt. As usual, download it from the website. Use it as the exercise file for this particular video. Make sure that you are in the elevations and that you're looking at the north elevation this time. We're in the north elevation of our Revit project_materials.rvt file. Come down to the view control bar. We're going to set the detail level to fine, and we're also going to set the visual style to consistent colors like so. The reason I want consistent colors is I want you to be able to see the color change when we edit the model elements material. Zoom in on the double doors. Get in nice and close. Make sure you can also see this window here, the first window to the right of the double doors. Just pan upwards…
