Editing the curtain-wall profile - Revit Tutorial
From the course: Building Curtain Walls with Revit
Editing the curtain-wall profile
- Not all curtain walls are squares or rectangles. Many take on other forms such as including a radial top. One video in this course has us using a floor to attach the top of our curtain wall to. This one is going to be a little bit different. By finding a curtain wall that's already modeled and placed, we're going to make some edits to the profile. Then we're going to investigate some of the warnings that Revit kicks out and examine them a little closer. So to get started, jump into your Revit model. The first thing I want to do is add some mullions to this curtain wall right over here. I'm going to zoom in on this curtain wall, and I'm going to select it. In my properties, I'm going to click Edit Type. I'm going to duplicate it, Exterior Glazing 2 for a name is fine, I'm going to hit OK. I'm going to scroll down to my mullions. I'm going to change all six of these fields. For my Interior Type on my Vertical Mullions, I'm going to hit the drop-down, I'm going to grab 2.5" x 5"…
