This video gives an overview of the steps required to set up an isometric view using separate views.
- [Instructor] In this video,…we'll learn how to add a level of realism…to our graphic by editing parts.…As you can see in our 3D view,…the material layers are shown well enough.…However, the wall studs are not framed correctly…and the metal lathe has an air gap…and is not embedded in the scratch coat.…We're going to learn how to adjust the stud locations…by moving the material hatch pattern…and adjust the thickness of our wall layer…to embed the metal lathe into the scratch coat.…Let's get started.…Open Exercise File O5_03.…If you check your project browser,…you should be in sheet 05_03_Edit Parts.…
We have the same four views from our previous movies.…If we zoom in in our 3D view,…we can see that the stud material extends…past the outside edge of our slab.…That's not how we would build this building.…We want to show it the way we would actually build it.…So what we're going to do is split this part.…We're going to edit this part…to remove the portion of the material…that extends past the floor slab.…To do that, we're going to start in the elevation.…
