Displaying objects above and below in plan views

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to discuss the 'above' and 'below' ranges of the view range, and the rules that apply here can sometimes be a little obscure and confusing. So, let's look at few specific examples to hopefully clarify a few things. So, I'm looking at this break room area here, and I'm going to go to the 'component' tab. And I've preloaded a piece of wall-mounted cabinetry, and what I'm going to do is just sort of add a couple of these items here on this wall. Now at first you may not notice anything strange about being able to place those elements and having them display, until you consider, over here, on the 'properties' palette, that we're actually placing them at four foot six. So, if I cancel out of that command and make sure nothing is selected and type 'vr' on my keyboard to run the view range dialog, I'd like to remind you that the cut plane is at four feet. So, I just placed two elements above that, and yet they're displaying in plan anyway. So, let's talk…
