Displaying objects above and below in plan views
- [Instructor] Let's continue our exploration of the view range dialogue and focus on the areas above and below the cut. So, to help us do that, I'm going to add a couple of upper cabinet units to the break room. So I'm going to go to the Component tool, I've pre-loaded some upper cabinetry families here, so it doesn't matter which one you choose, just any old cabinet will do. And I'm going to place a couple of them right there in the break room. Now, they appear there in plan, which, at first, may not seem all that surprising until you consider the Properties palette, and notice that the elevation of that element is a little bit higher than the cut plane. It's at four foot six in Imperial or 1,400 millimeters in metric. So let me cancel out of that command, select this section right here, right click it, and choose Go to View. Then I'll tile these two views on the View tab, or you can type W + T, and I'll zoom in on…
