Dimensioning a plan

- [Instructor] Previously we've used dimensions to help us edit our model. In this video, I want to look at dimensions as a documentation tool. So I'm going to work here in this floor plan and add some dimensions. So let's go to Annotate. And here on the dimension panel we've got lots of dimension buttons to choose from. We're going to look at the aligned dimension tool in this video, which is really the default tool and perhaps one of the most versatile ones. But if you like, after we're done here, you can explore the use of some of those other dimension tools as well, they all work in a kind of a similar fashion. Now, and alternative to going to the Annotate tab is right here on the quick access toolbar. You can see that the aligned dimension tool is also there. So the next place I want to direct your attention is the options bar. And you can see that we have these two drop-down menus and currently they're set to wall…
