- Sometimes when you are working on a project you need you dimensions to appear in more than one unit measuring system. So, perhaps you are working on a project in your firm in the United States, but you are working on a project in a country that uses metric units. So, you might want it to display the dimensions in both the imperial system and the metric system. So, let's take a look at how we can actually do that. So, I've got a really simple file here with some dimensions on it, and I am going to zoom in on a couple of the dimension strings here. Now, all of these dimension strings are using the same type, and the change we need to make is actually a type level modification. It is actually a fairly easy change to make, and it will globally affect the entire plan here.
