Defining floors for a mass

- [Instructor] Sometimes when you're working in Revit Architecture you want to create what is called a conceptual mass and that conceptual mass allows you to define a large building block the shape of a building and then work with that building block and define the building elements from within it. That's what conceptual massing is all about. So, you can see I'm in Revit. I'm in the recent files start up screen. I'm going to go to families here. Can you see where it says 'New Conceptual mass...'? I'm going to click on that there and you can see that it prompts me to create this metric mass from a Revit family template because masses are RFAs, they are Revit families. So, I'm going to select metric mass like that and I'm going to click on open. Now, you may be working in different units. You may have, for example, USA imperial set of Revits. So, I'll make sure that that metric_mass.rft file is in the exercise files so that you can download it from the website. So, that'll take us into…
