Cutting holes using void geometry

- [Instructor] Geometry in your families can be created from both solid and void forms. So in the previous video, we looked at creating some solids. Let's do a void form in this video, and we're going to do a void to create the pockets in the pool table. So, I'm going to work the the Ref level floorplan, and like we did in the previous video, I'm going to select the rail, and temporarily hide that element, and also select the table bed, and temporarily hide that element. It'll make it much easier for me to build my void relative to to the reference planes without it accidentally trying to snap to the actual geometry. Next, I'll go to Create, and we've got a Void Forms drop down here, and I'll create a Simple Void Extrusion. Now, strictly speaking, the shape of the pockets has a custom shape to it, but, for our purposes here, I'm going to use a simple circle, and I think that will be representative enough.
