Creating stairs

- Normally we see the architect adding the stairs, but they could sometimes be considered a structural item, so here we go. What I want to do is add a multistory staircase, with landings at the halfway points. Let's jump into Revit. Let's go down to Level 2. Let's zoom in at this entry area here. We're going to put a U-shape staircase right here. Let's go to the Architecture tab this time. Let's click on the Stair button. Now, for our location line, Let's select Exterior Support Left. For the actual Run Width, let's go 1219. Let's make sure it adds an Automatic Landing. Now my Base Level is going to be Level 1. My Top Level wants to be Level 2. My Top Offset wants to be 178 millimeters. That's the thickness of our slab. Now our Multistory Top Level, let's send it up to Level 5. But Revit's not going to really like that.
